Many PGA and LPGA professionals have become Frankly/PGA Certified Putting Instructors (CPIs) enabling their students and their business to be more successful.
Research shows that golfers taking a lesson from a CPI improve their self rating of their putting from a 4/10 to a 7/10 after their first lesson.
The Certified Putting Instructor (CPI) Course, is a certification based on scientific principles offered by U.S. based Frankly Golf in collaboration with the PGA with the goal of helping golfers putt better, adding an extra dimension to the services that the golf professional can deliver.
According to Horam Golf Club PGA professional and CPI Gary Colson, the response from his students fits the research findings.
“Since becoming a CPI I have completed lots of group and individual putting sessions with lots of fantastic positive feedback and comments from my students,” said Colson, “they can really see the difference in their putting.”
In reflecting on the success that CPI’s are having in improving the putting of their students, Frank Thomas, founder of Frankly Golf, former longtime USGA Technical Director and inventor of the graphite shaft, said,
“I am delighted to hear the reports from CPI’s regarding the improvement that their students are seeing after a putting lesson with them. The CPI Course was designed to do just this, as it is based on very sound scientific principles and on more than a decade of research, backed by an outstanding Advisory panel.”
