“Having been born and raised in South Africa, a country that has produced so many world-class players, it is truly a pleasure to see the CPI Course be recognized by the PGA. I look forward to it making an impact at the grassroots level of the game, as it has in so many other countries, helping the PGA professional and their business, their golf club and the golfer,” said Thomas, who in 2011 received the Compleat Golfer Award for Services to the Golf Industry, a prestigious South African golf award.

Andrew Gunn, Education and Training Manager for the PGA of South Africa, shared his thoughts about the importance of putting instruction:

“Frank’s book “The Fundamentals of Putting” is a masterly look at putting and the online Certified Putting Instructor (CPI) course no less so. I am proud to be able to offer the CPI course to our PGA members and I am sure it will benefit those who are passionate about teaching and enhancing their knowledge base, adding another dimension to the professional’s business.”

PGA of South Africa members can go to the On Course section of The Course Record, the PGA of South Africa’s e learning platform, to see the full details.
