Certified Putting Instructor (CPI) Course Increases International Reach

Since 2010, Frankly Golf’s Certified Putting Instructor (CPI) Course has been educating golf professionals online, enabling them to offer their expertise to help golfers around the globe by providing dedicated putting instruction.

Started in partnership with the PGA of Great Britain and Ireland, there are now CPI’s in 29 countries around the world, and 7 PGA’s as well as the LPGA that recognize the CPI Course for ongoing education. The CPI Course has also been completely translated into Japanese, in partnership with the PGA of Japan, making in-roads into Asia.

In the last year alone, many golf professionals from around the world have become CPIs, some marking a first for their country. These include professionals Miguel Bianchi from Portugal, Timur Acheldiev from Russia, Martin Tavoda from Slovakia, Stewart Graham from France and Leon Marks from Luxembourg have all have realized the benefits of this unique online course.

Frank Thomas, founder of Frankly Golf, former longtime USGA Technical Director, inventor of the graphite shaft and the person who introduced the Stimpmeter to the game, said

“It is extremely satisfying to see the international reach the CPI course has. I believe the reason for this is two-fold. First because of the unique information we provide and second by taking advantage of modern technology in allowing us to educate without boundaries. Today, golf professionals can learn where and when they want, without time or geographical constraints.”
